Mediation & Dispute Resolution
Mediation is a process where a neutral third party helps the parties resolve a dispute outside of court. The focus of mediation is finding a mutually acceptable resolution, rather than determining who is right and who is wrong. When parties go to trial, they put the decision in the hands of a judge. Often one side will win in full and one side will lose in full. Mediation is an opportunity to control the outcome of a dispute and spare the significant expense of litigation.
As the mediator, we do not serve as the attorney for any party. Instead, we seek to understand the root of the issues, provide guidance, and creatively seek resolution that is acceptable to all parties.
Mediation is voluntary, private, and confidential. Please contact us to learn more about the process of mediation and how it may help you resolve your dispute.
